Currently you can still get rewards for achieving achievements, but on Xbox Live should be changing this system. By removing the Microsoft Points From September 1, therefore there will be new rewards.
The rewards you can still get lucky, but the schedule is sometimes completely customized. From August 1, the Microsoft points go away, and than you can no longer receive them for achieving achievements. What kind of rewards you can get wil be known later so we got to see and wait until September.
