When
Xbox 360 was released in 2005, Microsoft had never thought it was possible
that the reward system of the achievements would be as successful if it did then. Massive everyone wanted to get achievements. Many
games today are played out within an hour of 10 and if you're not
ready for you're feeling then you can provide
additional gameplay with achievements. You
are not playing pointless and you do not for a second time do
exactly what you did when you first played the game. The rest is history. For the one it adds nothing, the other can not get enough. Reason enough for Microsoft to also make their appearance with achievements for Xbox One .
Of
course the achievement system after all these years want some
renovation and the new cloud saving of Microsoft there are many
new opportunities for the achievements. These achievements can be later added to a game. Now the achievements are programmed in front. The xbox 360, Achievements are already in the game and if a developer wants to add achievements then this should be in the form of DLC. with the

We really wanted to make all our Achievement systems fully embrace cloud power. Which is why in this generation it’s all cloud Achievements.”So, the general guidance we give to Achievements on how they’re utilised – conceptually, that’s the same, but the big decoupling we did is that on Xbox 360, your Achievement is actually a bunch of client code you write in your game, and that’s still largely true on Xbox One, but the client code is instrumentation. So you instrument your game with all these events and then you go to a web tool and say, ‘oh OK, I want a new Achievement when this event crosses this threshold’. You can add an achievement without ever updating your game client. We want game developers to be able to offer Achievements and interesting opportunities throughout the life-cycle of a game. So, you know, 14 months after the game’s shipped, you’re still offering interesting Achievement opportunities, because users are still playing the game and the game is still evolving and growing.”Microsoft says there are keeping in mind that developers do not throw gamers with nonsensical achievements. It should be fun according to the company for the people to play games out for a100% . When every time new achievements come this of course will be quite difficult. According to Microsoft this will not be a problem because they will ensure that this will happen in good order and that developers do not abuse the opportunities.
“We’re mindful of it,” Gibson commented, when we asked whether Gamerscore obsessives should worry. “We’re mindful of it, and the corollary is that with a lot of games today, three updates later it’s a nice evolution of that game – it’s a different game that’s been modified and adjusted, based on what people are enjoying and having fun with. And we think that Achievements should match that.”
