Sony says you can connect to a PS4, for example,to play a co-op game four Vita with your friends, such as shooters and more.
The Guardian reports that on basis of a presentation by Sony during the Develop conference. It would mean that you each can play a game with local multi-player separately on a Vita and so do not suffer from split screens. According to Neil Brown from Sony is there hardly any lag because this use is made of Gaikai streaming technology
Incidentally, it seems just to go to games with a local co-op. And that won't be to many titles. Anyway you should collect three friends, each with a Vita, or have three youre self. It is true that everyone can log in on his own PSN and so account and all the progress will be preserved and you can continue to play on the next time!
