Xbox one sells itself to small businesses !!

 
It seems to crazy for words, but Microsoft is positioning its new Xbox One as a tool for small businesses. And here's why.

Good news for entrepreneurs! Microsoft has released a new platform that meets your needs. No, it's not a cheaper version of Office or unlimited cloud storage via Azure, but a game console: the Xbox One should also funcion excellent in small businesses.

The company seems to make a joke, as it indicates that the $ 500 cost-console "to justify excellent" as business expenditure. Still, it gives a nice reasons why you in the meeting room of your company should set. An Xbox One Let's take a closer look.   

Skype
This is the main argument. Skype is integrated by Microsoft in many consumer devices, so it makes sense that it also equips with the Xbox standard for video conferencing. This can be useful for smaller companies, especially in situations where there are multiple locations who wish to communicate with each other. Two offices with conference rooms can hold meetings via Xbox Skype sessions. Skype can be a reason for not fixed telephone and cheap international calls. And although it would be costly to equip every workstation with an Xbox ,a central point with Skype can be useful.
SkyDriveThe new Xbox One comes with integrated support for SkyDrive, which Microsoft pitcht as a place where you can save to that show the Office Web Apps version of PowerPoint presentations through the browser in the One to others. If you do not have a projector, not a laptop that you have to connect to a TV  than it can work. Yet, most companies have a better option to present on-site and they will not just switch to a console.
Wi-Fi Direct
Most business owners will have no idea what Wi-Fi Direct, and I doubt that many companies will create the scenario that Microsoft outlines use: "Send your presentation to the TV, use SmartGlass to navigate through the PowerPoint presentation and use your tablet to control. A built-in web browser is always useful. As noted earlier, you can access through the browser Office Web Apps. If Microsoft manages to unlock the access to this suite easily through the Xbox One then this may be interesting for many companies. But right now I make as much use of a web browser on my TV as my microwave to read weather forecasts.
Future applicationsMicrosoft plays it safe by stating that it is possible that companies will see future  in the applications to be published for the Xbox One. The company does not let us know which apps this will be and that is unfortunate. I can imagine  yoga training applications through Kinect, splash screens for the reception to welcome visitors via Kinect or business apps, but Microsoft keeps tight lipped. Ultimately, it remains at least possible to play a nice game of Fifa on Friday afternoon  with your colleagues.
